******* and misled
I was away in December and my house sitter called me on Sunday 29th to tell me there was no electricity. After trying certain things I called Elite. They were very efficient over the phone and came within 40 minutes, and specified because it was a Sunday I needed to pay for the work done immediately after it was fixed. After I had not heard from them for about 30 minutes of being at my house, I phoned my house sitter to check if they were still there. She said they had just left and that he said it was very expensive because he had to replace all the circuit breakers on the board due to a power surge. Harry then phoned me and said there was a power surge maybe caused by water in the wires and he had to replace most parts but our insurance will pay for it. He then sent me a bill for R11 047!! My husband phoned and queried it and he said it all had to be replaced and we must claim from our Insurance. He never phoned during the call out to at least to discuss the price before going ahead. Well insurance rejected the claim on the grounds that they don't pay for power surges. I then emailed the owner Dirk who basically rudely rep**** that they as a company cannot know what every insurance company covers or doesn't cover. We are insured with ABSA. Surely they are aware of what the big banks cover in their line of work.
Well as I said in the e mail yes...
Unfortunately we don't know what your insurance company covers and doesn't cover and I really don't understand how I could've rudely rep**** via e mail. We have been on service for 11 years and service in excess off 15 customers a day....every day.

We've been a COD company for 11 years and ALWAYS require payment when done on site...not because it was a Sunday.
Enjoy the day and sorry that we didn't know what your insurance company doesn't cover.
