Breaking of contract (*****)

I purchased a Fiat Strada 1.7td from Leroux Van Tonder at Elite Auto in Vereeniging, corner of Leslie and Rhodes street on 24/03/2022. While signing the purchase documents, he said that if anything goes wrong within 2000 km that I should bring the vehicle in and that they will fix it. Fro the beginning the thermostat is not working and when I took the vehicle in, they refuse to fix it and said that I must pay for the part and labor. This is after 1000 km. This is not acceptable and in my eyes *****.
