***** guesthouse

I booked online using a booking website called Agoda at this Elephant's nest guest house which is in Graskop Mpumalanga on the 17th of February 2025, the reservation i made was for the 14th till the 16th of March 2025, when the 14th of March came myself and my wife took a road trip from Johannesburg to Graskop, about 4hr drive. Upon arival i called the resort and a lady answered the call, i told her about the booking reservation and she blatantly told us, she doesn't know anything about any booking, we must call the owner of the guesthouse. I called the owner but there was no answer , when he eventually answered, which was like 5 hrs later, mind you it was already evening, He told us it was the booking company's mistake because he had informed them that He's gonna be closed for the weekend. We were forced to pay another resort because it was already late at night, since then he's been promising us to het it fixed so that we get a refund but to no avail, between him and that Agoda company, they are swindling people, we just want our money back
