Tried to purchase a few items from https://elegantlylit.com/ Added items to cart and when prompted for card details and payment i thought i would first contact the number provided to make sure all would be in order with my purchase. After trying to call 3 times during the space of 4 hours and only getting voicemail, i decided to try whatsapping to the number provided.

The message was read but no reply. A day later finally a reply from a lady named "Callis" informing me that in fact the items i wanted to purchase that were already in my cart were actually out of stock. This i found very strange and asked what would have happened if decided NOT to contact them before entering my payment details and was told that i would have been reimbursed if the item was out of stock and that they had forgotten to mark these sold out items as "Out of Stock"

Then to make matters worse i asked again via whatsapp when the stock would be arriving, again message was read but no reply until finally 3 days later i got a pretty unprofessional response from Callis saying that stock would arrive within a week and i would be contacted when it does arrive......more than a week later after not receiving the response as i was promised i again contacted them via whatsapp. AGAIN my message was read but no reply.

4 days later a get a reply saying stock has arrived and will be available on the website the following day. A week later the items are still not available to purchase on the website, i whatsapp again to inquire if i can go ahead with purchase and again my message is read but there is no reply whatsoever.

These people are clearly getting a bit too high on their own supply and have zero concept of good customer service or sticking to what they tell clients they will do.
