QUOTING BUT NOT DELIVERING THE SERVICE

In February 2014 we approached Iaan Viljoen of Elegant Pools (Pty) Ltd to install a swimming pool on our premises. The quote was very promising and it included the drawing up of the plans and submitting them with the municipality. We accepted his quote and we were quite happy with the end result only to find out a few months later that the plans were never drawn up and submitted to the municipality. When I approached Iaan he had the audacity to tell me that the plans were not part of the quote when I quite clearly had it all in black and white. He then told me he would get the architect to draw them up and do what needs to be done immediately. A week later he confirms giving the instruction to the architect but when I approached the architect, he knew nothing about it. It has now been two months since Iaan promised to supply what we paid him for and we are still waiting. To all of you out there who had a swimming pool installed by Elegant Pools, I suggest you do your homework and determine if the plans were ever submitted with the municipality. We now face a law suite because of Iaan's misdeed and dishonesty. NOT VERY NICE OF HIM AT ALL.
