Uselessness and lies

My televison needed repaired after a lightening strike and in trying to save Outsurance some money (as well as my outbonus) I decided to get a quote to see the cost of repair. First of all I went to Samsung in Morningside who were a bit expensive, so I got an alternative quote from one of Outsurances preferred providers Electro Service Centre (ESC) in Strijdom Park. This quote was better so I took it there, although when I walked the warning bells should have already been ringing as the place was in chaos with clients information strewn all over the reception area, floor, tables and seats. I could have ****** (or at least read) some personal data and used it for other purposes if I was that type of person. I called every day for a week, and just received excuses and promises my call would be returned. I didnt receive one phone call even after speaking to the owner who told me he would call me back in five mins after going to "break someones legs" for not no one getting back to me - very professional!!. Eventually I was told the part was ordered but they couldnt tell me how long it would take (surely you know how long your suppliers takes in an electronics business!) and then they also didnt know even when the part arrived how long it would take to put it in, and when I asked when they closed I was told in 3 days time. Therefore no hope of getting my tv back for the holidays. I then called Samsung in Brynanston and they said bring it in and your can wait and we will fix it quickly- WOW. Finally some excellent service, especially from Melanie Lous. When we collected the tv from ESC the owner still had the audacity to lie and said he did return my call. So be careful if you use this provider, espeically if you are doing it privately and not through your insurance company.
