They only want your money

<p>I called Plumbing 247 and spoke to Jade. He explained the process where they come out where the initial fee is R750. Once they have started, they will keep you up-to-date informing you of what is required and the costs. I accepted and requsted a call out based on this principal. I spoke to Manie, the plumber, before he went onsite to give him my address (I work over 20Km from home so would not be there during the call out). A few hours later, I get a call from Manie telling me all the things he had done to resolve the issue and the cost is R3500 (listing fixed cost items like using a Water Jet @ R1500). And I had to pay and sms proof of payment before he left. Obviously not wanting to start any complaint with an unknown man on my premises, I made the payment with the intent to complain to Jade. When I logged my complaint with Jade, he said he would call me back - never got a call back. I then logged a complaint with Cathy, the manager, who basically said all she can do is apologise and reprimand Manie. Well this does not get the opportunity back to decide on the costs. I would recommend never using this company for any plumbing services as they are clearly a bunch of sharks just out to get your money.</p>
