Overcharged, discrepancy in quoted pricing

<p>The plumber came out and commenced work, without calling me with assessment and quotation. When asked why the charge is R1950 for 40min of work with minimal material (tap washers etc), the plumber rep**** that he unblocked 2 drains and "standard pricing" is R1200 per unblocked drain and he already gave me discount. When I called the office - the "standard pricing" quoted was R650. The plumber came pestering me for proof of payment, probably because he knows that he overcharged and is now nervous that I won't pay. Grudge payment was made.</p>
