BEWARE - DUBIOUS ELECTRICIANS 24 7, also known as Emergency Electricians 247

Beware of these people!!! A technician called Peet was sent out and he unashamedly ripped me off big time - charged over R7000 for a part that verifyably costs R1450!!! And to top it, his initial quote which needed to be paid in advance (to pay for the 'expensive' parts!!!) finally worked out to about R2000 per hour labour!!! - yes, no typo here - !!! To top it, the problem was not even sorted to my satisfaction - he wanted more money to do that and even had the audacity to tell me that 'outside' - wherever that is - he could make between R3000 and R4000 per hour!!! BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE - the person answering the cellphone number advertised is Jane. He too, unfortunately, is of the same calibre as he confirmed the extremely inflated cost for the part. BTW, a quote from a registered and seemingly honest electrician came to about R4000 for the job that was done, whereas the above shameless people charged me R17000 - yes, again not typ!!! HH
