Poor quality of products and pathetic customer service!

My Husband had purchased a mangalsutra from Eldorado jeweller's in September 2024. I have used the chain about 3 times as wedding jewelery is not an everyday use. It is now 9 months later and I have contacted this store about my complaint. I have attached pictures and sent a WhatsApp to poobashnee from that store advising her that there's a factory fault on the link of this chain. I was at a function and felt something slip down my neck, then I noticed the link on this chain had broke. How can a chain that's 9 months old have no sort of guarantee? Apart from laying this complaint, I get no feedback from them, as a customer I had to constantly message them asking for assistance on the matter. According to poobashnee, they don't offer guarantees on this. She then blamed me for cutting the chain when i would not purposely put myself through this hassle with them. I had told her its quite visible that it was poorly made, the pics were available to her. Why don't they advise customers that they have no guarantee on their stuff ? I had asked her what guarantee they offer, she couldnt answer me. She then went on to say they can repair it but the costs to courier and repair will be my costs. How unfair is this? This is completely wrong and unfair on their part. How can a chain 9 months old, used 3 times break so easily? She says they are in business for 35 years? 35 years of robbing people with poor customer service and quality of items. They advertise on all platforms like a legit business when clearly they aren't! Wake up Eldorado! You can't be taking thousands of rands for patheticly made products! These are not toys! They are jewelery! Never will I purchase or recommend anyone to purchase from these people. I have been in contact other people who have purchased from them as well with the similar kind of service delivery from these people so I can't be the only one with complaints and no sort of guarantee against products!
