False advertising on the eldorado website for the yellow gold ring L264 done by the store supervisor of shop 21 the arcade 88field street durban and terrible customer service after calls and going into the store by owner and supervisor.

On the 19/10 I went on the eldorado website and the saw a sale with 50%off a the yellow gold ladies ring with the code L264 which is R4999'as per the website and the store supervisor,I then openend the normal catalogue as I knew this was a good sale because 50% would me R2500.I then called the store at shop 21 the arcade 88field street to ask if I could go purchase the ring and if they had stock ?i then asked how long is the sale and how come the rings have such a good discount of 50%as per the sale.The supervisor was then confuse as I asked her if I can pay R1250 (half)and the balance end of October?She then realised asked me where I gt the price from I advised her as per the normal site the ring is R4999 and as per the sale catalogue it says 50% off R4999.The supervisor then asked me to please forward pictures of the prices and catalogues which I had done and she then said that ahe will get back to me the next morning as the shop was closing due to diwali celebrations. On.the 20 October I got a call from the supervisor admitrinf that she had put this on the website and that it was an error and ,she will contact me as they dont have stock and none of the stores use the supplier,I then called the other Berea branch and was advised they had one ring so I then asked the lady to keep it for me so I can come make the payment,after.no response from field street Eldorado called the store to confirm what is the discount price that the owner can give me as this was their advertising error and I have been calling and have not got any joy,I then asked to speak to the owner and he refussed ti call me.Saturday the 21October 2017 I decided to go to the field street store to speak to the supervisor and get the ring for the price that was advertised,when I got ti the store the supervisor advised that the owner will give me a discount for the same ring in white gold of a R1000 which was not in the catalogue,I then said I do not want whitw gold but the yellow gold and he offered me a hallmark watch for R499 and r400 off as he will be loosing out and is no longer dealing with the supplier which all the other stores are using and knowing he had the white gold from the same supplier.I then requested R1500 off the ring and as per the supervisor she was gng to call me back the Monday.On Monday I received a whatsup from the Eldorado number stating that they are getting their attorneys to look into what they.can offer me,as per the supervisor I would only get r500'off based on the feedback given from their attorney.This is fals advertising ,people please check the correct prices and the prices as there is no sale and 50%off all .In a nutshell there is no sale.For a person who was a regular customer,this was terrible service and false advertising.
