Worst bus services on the planet..... They shouldn't be in business at all. I have been crying but my plea has fallen o deaf ears. I hope that this gets to the right people and that my prayers are answered. I have been ****** by the ****** at Eldo Coache
Good morning, to whom it may concern. I am a 63yr old pensioner on said date :10th October 2020, I traveled from Eldorado Park to Johannesburg Park station where we were transferred to a bus traveling to the Eastern cape, East London . When I alighted the bus coming from eldos, I had all my luggage, as we stood on the platform we were told by a short gentleman who identified himself as the bus driver to put our luggage in the outside of the bus. We were not told at any time that we should come out every time people alighted the bus to see that our luggage is not taken by someone else. I have traveled before from province to province never have i experienced losing luggage. My position was highly compromised as a pensioner I couldn't replace clothing I lost for 1 week. When I attempted to alight the bus a little out of kingwilliams town the tall 2nd bus driver assisted me to check for my luggage which was not there it had been taken. The tall 2nd bus driver was kind enough to take me to your offices at station road East London to report the matter, once there we searched once more for my luggage but there was nothing left once everyone had taken their luggage. I would like to state that contrary to what the short driver told his colleague that I had left my luggage in the bus from eldos, that is not true and he knows it. It makes me wonder why he found it necessary to tell a lie. The bus number which we arrived in the eastern cape was B830. I feel that it is unfair that due to negligence on the part of eldo coaches I lost out big time , from face cloths, toothbrush, to underwear and outfits, shoes pyjamas jerseys for 1 week.before you brush this off as a senile old lady check on the number of the bus which I memorized, I don't think a senile person would be able to do. I came back to Jhb by intercape bus service. At every stop one of the drivers alighted with the passenger and verified the luggage to ticket name and identification. I think that is the courtesy eldo coaches was supposed to do. Now that I think of it the short driver who told me to put my bag next to the wheel inside where the luggage goes, he took the slip of my luggage from the ticket. I'm sure you can establish who he is, they were 2 drivers, the tall one who tried to help me and was very courteous and kind and the short driver insisted I left my bag in the bus from Eldorado Park i suppose he discriminated against me being a pensioner I have to be some kind of an idiot or senile. Here are the particulars:Refnumber:B5ZGB5PH/L54X5RJX, Service number:EC4200, Ticket number:ABIWW201. Please do advise what you are going to do about this as a pensioner it's not easy to come by another wardrobe of clothes. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: "Angeline Heugh" <***> Date: 21 Oct 2020 2:28 PM Subject: Re:lost luggage en route Johannesburg to Kingwilliams town Station. 11/10/2020.
