Terrible service

I was very disappointed with the service I got from Eldo. Our bus was scheduled to leave Cape Town at 19:00 on 24.12.2020, it was a few minutes late and that is understandable. When we got to Worcester we were informed that we are going back to Bellville to fetch 3 passengers that missed the bus. When we raised our raised our concerns to the driver he completely ignored us and continued driving. He stopped at N1 City in Worcester and we spent almost 2 hours, waiting for 3 people.

That was not enough on Christmas day when I was supposed to be with my family, I spent just over 3 hours waiting for Jesus to come rescue us. As the driver's could not give us an update or inform us as to when the mechanic will come. Eventually we had lost our tempers and the driver said he was not sure if the mechanic will come through as it was a public holiday and we might be stuck there for the day and night with no water. I had a baby with me so I had to make means to get to my destination. I had to pay an extra R300 on top of the R755 that I paid. I had unfortunately booked a return trip as I had to be at work on 28.12.2020. I called their call center and canceled my ticket and requested for a full refund as the company had already f*d up. I was informed that a R50 cancelation fee would be deducted. Advised the agent I spoke to, that I want my money in full. I was given an email address I sent 3 emails and only received feedback after sending the 3rd. The person that read the email only say cancel and responded to that. He did not even bother going through the email. I, then sent a reply explaining what I wanted and Lloyd never came back to me.

Surely if they can bend the rules for people who miss their bus, they can also waive the cancelation fee from me. The diver said we will be given 10% off for the inconvenience after we had to dig him for answers as no one was communicating with us. However, none of the people I have spoken to never mentioned this.

Eldo Coaches should be removed from the road.
