Stranded passenger, fearing for her life
My wife went to Aliwal North using an Eldo coach on Thursday (9th Sept), to attend a funeral. She paid for a return ticket, returning on Monday (13th September), She was at the pickup point at 01:45 hours, (the ticket stated 0205 hours). At 0400 hours she went to a relative’s house. At 0730 hours I waited for the bus to arrive, to find out what went wrong. Eldo coach office in East London wasn’t yet open, but I was assisted by your staff member anyway, she gave the supervisor's email address and a phone number. I sent an email as soon as I got home, no reply, phoned the number I was given, was on hold for 31 minutes, as soon a I become first in the queue I was cut off. By the way the queue only had 5 people in it, and they continually claimed it was high volume (denoting to me that there is only one operator). There are two other phone numbers on the ticket, one does not exist, the other rings and immediately cuts off. My wife is at this time trying to hitch a lift back to East London, I fear for her safety and the safety of anyone else buying a ticket from this *********** company.
