Eldo Coaches: Bus 2409

I, hereby state that everything I say or write on this email is true, as well as witnesses included to justify the statement.

On the 18/10/2022 at 22:45 I climbed onto bus 2409 at Port Elizabeth, where driver Thobela assisted me on loading my bags onto the bus. I have two witnesses with me that saw how my bags were loaded onto the bus, WITHOUT BAG TICKETS.

When I got to Cape Town on 19/10/2022 at 10:00 my green luggage bag was missing. I then asked the bus drivers, both Wellington and Thobela where my bag was, this is when Wellington rep**** to me in an aggressive manner saying; "I don't know where you're ****ing bag is".

Ofcourse I got upset with this situation, and then myself, the two witnesses that was with me, including Wellington moved to the Eldo Coaches offices.

I explained my situation to #***, and she then told me to write down my statement on a blank piece of paper which is attached to this email. She rep**** that she will call all the passengers that was onboard to help find my lost green luggage bag.

After a while a lady called me from Caledon to tell me that my bag was found infront of her guesthouse (Kelkiewyn) where the bus drivers dropped off an elderly white man with my bag and left. Eventually, as this lady explained to me, the elderly man did not take my green bag, and this is where my green bag was left on the sidewalk.

She then went out to grab my bag and found my papers inside, this is how she got in reach with me.

I decided to not waste time and then used RM CABS from CapeTown (Long distance bus facility, 1 Old Marine Drive) to Caledon to go and fetch my bag. This cost me R3000.00.

I am very upset about this matter and would like the driver Wellington to be held responsible for leaving my bag behind with my personal belongings worth more than R15 000.00.

I would also like to request my R3000.00 that I lost with this whole trip to be paid back to me as because this situation is Eldo Coaches fault.
