Never Again Eldo Coaches

My wife and I used Eldo bus service for the first time and last time on August 4 and 6, 2019. What a nightmare. The bus was late at the departure point (Pretoria) and again late from Cape Town to Pretoria. The staff as well as the driver were disorganized and not at all focused on customer service. The toilet door of the bus was out of order and swung back and forth all the way to the Cape. The reading lights were out of order. The bus was dirty during the drive to Cape Town and back to Pretoria. The air conditioning system of the bus did not work and we had to suffer great discomfort in the process. From Bellville we had to listen to the most horrible music we ever heard. We had to get off in Laingsburg and look for a place to sleep for the night as we couldn't stand it any longer. I immediately booked a place at Intercape bus service to get back to Pretoria. What a difference, the bus driver from Intercape was friendly and made us comfortable. Unfortunately we cannot recommend Eldo bus service as their advertising on TV is misleading and we will never use it again. Practice what you preach guys.
