Horror trip for three Grannies on Eldo Coach

On the morning of the 7th my two sisters and I were travelling to Durban. The bus departure was scheduled at 7h30. We received SMSs to announce the delay at 7.26. The said coach only arrived at 8.455 after we had been standing at the windy departure point for well over an hour. More horrors were in store for us. The elderly driver saw it fit to drive slower than the proverbial snail pace. We received another SMS at 14.46 that as the bus had a mechanical problem another bus would be dispatched to continue our journey, but no such thing took place As a result, we disembarked at 17h25. at Durban Station. Also, the bus aircon deposited a huge amount of water on the unfortunate souls sitting below. The toilet door could only be shut by using a brick outside the door, meaning that when you were sitting on the seat you were compelled to lean over to hold the door for dear life! Never, ever again will we use Eldo Coaches.
