Eldo Coaches is a problem.

I am appalled,disgusted and disappointed by the treatment from Eldo Coaches. We booked a bus to Cape Town as friends for the 15th December leaving at 7p.m. We rushed to get there 30 minutes before time as stipulated by Eldo Coaches. We stood there until 11:30 pm and at that time i managed to speak to one of the ladies at Park Station with dreadlocks who started having an argument with me not understanding our frustration to lack of communication by them. I even had to use my airtime to call the customer care. The bus left at 12 midnight and at 2a.m on the 16th the bus got stuck. 10km away from Kroonstad in the middle of nowhere. The bus driver did not even have the courtesy to inform passengers,got into his cabin and slept. I called the customer care around 2:30 am and Papi who answered the call was very casual about the matter and said they will send a mechanic. Indeed the mechanic came however he did not have the correct equipment to fix the issue meaning he had to drive back again for two hours. There were elderly people and kids in that bus with no water and safety issues. The mechanic came at 9a.m in the morning and during that time i made countless calls to Eldo Coaches and one of the Seniors there said unfortunately there is nothing that could be done. We drove a further the whole morning with stops necessary until ww got stuck again at Lainsburg due to the window wipers not working. The police came and told us that the bus was not roadworthy. The bus can only move if the wipers can be fixed. We fixed the wipers ourselves as passengers,we got underneath the bus ourselves as we knew we will not get help. Indeed the bus got to Old Marine at 8am on the morning of the 17th December. We spent 36hours on a bus that was supposed to be 17 hours. We lost a full day at the hotel we booked at and there was no refund due to the incompetence by Eldo Coaches. I want a refund for the full day we lost at the hotel and some sort of compensation for the trauma we had to go through in that bus. I see reviews about the exact same thing which means this is something common and Eldo Coaches is not addrssing the issue. Something needs to be done urgently as there are people's lives involved here.
