Drunk passenger on Eldo Coaches

This incident took place on the 24th of December 2021, on the 17:30 bus from JHB to El. A drunk male passenger hit a female passenger that was sitting next to him. The drivers attempted to intervene by changing the male passengers seat to the front of the bus where the 2nd driver was seated. This meant the 2nd driver was unable to sleep and get rest for his ****.

When we arrived at the following rest stop the same drunk and disruptive passenger was allowed to get back into the bus. Furthermore, other passengers bought alcohol and got into the bus carrying the alcohol in full view of both the drivers. The Eldo Coaches website is clear on what action the drivers need to take should such an incident occur. As per the Eldo Coaches policy, the drunk passenger should have been asked to disembark at the following stop.

The drivers failed to uphold these rules and as a result placed risked the safety of all the passengers on the trip. Their failure to apply and uphold the rules further allowed for other passengers to purchase alcohol as they saw that no harsh action was taken against the first passenger.

I trust that Eldo will handle this complaint with the seriousness it deserves. This is completely unacceptable.
