Disgusting Service

We traveled from Pretoria to Alwal North on Thursday 16th . We booked 19h00 but only left Bosman at 21h00 together with 18h00, 19h00 and 19h30 people in one shuttle. The staff at the station had no decency to update us on what was happening, eventually when the shuttle arrived we boarded the bus and I decided to sit at the front seat. I noticed a warning ⚠️ sign on the dash board and a warning that reads " Stop brake system failure " , the tank empty warning sign was also on.

The bus took off but I was feeling uneasy after seeing those warning signs. As we were driving down N1 , the bus struggled to pull on up hills and was speeding on down hills, after passing Killarney Mall there were cars stationery due to what looked like a break down and the driver struggled to bring the bus to a stop, he almost crushed into a white BMW that was stationery at the scene,he was forced to swerve to the extreme left lane to avoid crushing into the BMW, but as he swerved he lost control of the bus and almost hit the metal curb which would have caused the bus to overturn and roll over the curb , he then quickly swerved again to the right after passing the BMW to avoid hitting the metal curb , the bus slowed down after this and passengers were screaming and shouting at the driver. All this time from Bosman station to this point, the driver was talking on his phone. It was by God's grace that the bus didn't roll over.

The bus proceeded to Park Station, as we got inside cbd ,the driver failed to stop at all intersections , he almost ran over 2 cars at 2 separate intersections which confirmed that the bus brakes were failing. People in the bus were cursing and screaming at the driver yet again, the people seated at the back were not aware that the bus brakes were failing they thought the driver couldn't see well at night and was just driving badly because they didn't see the warning signs on the dashboard.

As soon as we arrived at Park Station the Marshall who was directing the driver where to park ask him if he was offloading or loading passengers, his response was he was first offloading Bloemfontein, Aliwal North and Umthata passengers and then he would the load other passengers. My worry was those people who were going to board this bus were not going to arrive alive at their destination.

The owner of this bus is gambling with people's lives and he should be brought to book for this. This is irresponsible, greedy and careless to allow such a bus to transport people.

Eldo Coaches need to be canceled and this company must close down. These coaches don't have a toilet and the drivers refuse to stop for passengers to use rest rooms.The bus only stopped in Bloemfontein from Jhb, where are people supposed to relieve themselves? The 2 hours delay is despicable and unprofessional, all you people care about is cashing in.....
