Booking Error

I asked my cousin to book a ticket for my mother from King Williams Town to Cape Town yesterday. She was suppose to meet the doctor today here in Cape Town. All to find out the cashier booked the ticket from Cape Town to King Williams Town (other way around) and my cousin signed for it(biggest mistake not to check it). We sent my mother the reference number and they couldn't pick it her on the system and they left her at the station. I phoned the Cape Town branch and I couldn't believe when they told me to forget about that ticket as I wanted to change it and pay the administration fee. I am willing to pay the fine to change and correct the ticket but I was insulted for not checking the ticket and I won't even get a refund.
