Bad service is an understatement !

I booked a group of Hockey boys / coaches and parents to Cape town for a Tournament. I was also travelling with . 1 ) As a group , I would think exception on 24-hour payment would be made , however this did not happen , only on the return was I able to negotiate this . 2 ) Bookings all made and done . I requested a refund of 3 tickets 7 Dec , which I am still waiting for ? 3 ) Day of departure - the bus is late for pick up at Midrand - now 24 teenagers are waiting . We get to Park station to be told there is a delay as our bus is technical and they have to source a private company which happens to be in Klerksdorp- are you actually kidding me. Departure was meant for 13H30 . We sat at the bus sidewalk for 4 hours!!!!! 4 ) Our “ private “ bus arrives outside Park station . It is smaller than our booked bus , no entertainment , no cell phone charging points and WOW no water or paper in the restrooms ! 5 ) The hockey bags had to be put by the restrooms due to lack of space , which we were then moaned at for by a Co Ordinator - well if the bus was not smaller, we would have been fine. 6 ) We depart . Now it’s a long drive and without being able to charge your phone especially that Parents would like to check up on their boys is not acceptable , let alone having no water in the restrooms . 7 ) The drive was long as we had to keep stopping for rest breaks . Also, we picked up more passengers along the way , which caused less space on the already smaller bus . Our bags had to then be put in the aisles . This is unsafe and just not on ! 8) We eventually arrive in CPT , to then be driven to the traffic department and the bus was checked . At no time were we informed as to why this was happening , they just checked things that were put on the bus by ELDO in JNB .

Now the return journey was a complete nightmare as well , with another 4-hour delay , rude bus driver who had no people skills and just did not care !

Take note that we as adults and the organisers are liable for the safety and comfort of the children , and this was taken away from us by the coach company

We continuously have to request feedback on the refund as well as a meeting with management to discuss the events above .

Service was not given , and still has not prevailed . We are not happy , and the fact that they are cheaper , just shows that it is not worth your time and money to book the cheapest !
