PLEASING THE CUSTOMER

I accepted a quote from Elaine's Blinds in Diep River Cape Town to repair my venetian blind for R200. On receiving the invoice I discovered VAT was not included in the quote -extra R28 - and I had also been charged an additional R171 for rebuilding the blind. On querying I was told my repair was not possible without a rebuild, but since I was unhappy I need pay only R228-00, the original quote plus VAT. This was good news for me (a pensioner) but most of all I was so impressed by the great attitude displayed by Elaine: \My customers must be happy wit the service they receive."She was so nice about what could easily have been an unpleasant confrontation.
