Pothole damages car and almost rolled the car

<p>To Whom It May Concern,</p> <p> </p> <p>Trust this email serves you well.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please note that I would like to lodge a complaint with regards to a large pot hole on Swartkoopies Road, this is just before Overburg Road.</p> <p> </p> <p>My wife, myself and our two children (age 7 months and 2 years old) were driving home on 22 February 2017 , and with the amount of rain and stones laying in the road that pot hole was not visible , we then hit the pot hole which then cause the back left tyre to burst and I almost lost control of the car. Once we eventually arrive home safely , the damage on the car was then assessed and has cost us R3200.00 (as the standard car rim Kia Rio 1.4 TEC 5 Door) was damaged and had to be refurbished as well as a new tyre which is highly expensive.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please advise as what steps are to be taken , as I see this is not our fault and has now causes unnecessary cost what i dont have and damage as well as placing our lives in danger.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your response will be much appreciated.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you</p> <p>Dean Janse Van Vuuren</p>
