Canceled booking at last minute

I made my bookings through bookings.com for 30 days yesterday traveling from Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg on my way just 2 hours to arrive at my destination they dicided to cancel my booking telling me the money I've e paid is not of their standard. I made payment with my last money and I asked about the refund they told me to talk to my agent. I was traumatized as a woman in a different province where I know no one. I then slept at the filling station all they can say is "sorry have a lovely day" till now I'm waiting for my refund to make other plans.
