Disappointed

Me and some international friends tried to support this small establishment as per the recommendation from an old employee. We were first greeted by a lovely waitress who took our order for drinks. We Waited 10 minutes and in this 10 minutes we got dirty looks that already made us feel unwelcome and then another waitress comes to the table and informs us due to the old employee giving us the recommendation, that we were not welcome there and could not specify why other than us being friends with an old employee. It was embarrassing and actually very disappointing and I feel discriminated against.
