I've never been so disappointed in my whole. I was offered a job as a collections officer for a company Einstein Pty Ltd. Dear Phindile Gama We are pleased to extend to you our offer of employment for the remote position of Debt Collection Agent with Einens Debt Collections. This position will report to Mrs. Jessica Abrahams (Soft Collections Manager) at ***. Your gross base starting salary will be R9,500 per month, payable on the 26th of each month via bank transfer. This salary is intended to compensate you for all work performed under this Contract.

Position Details

Title: Debt Collection Agent Start Date: August 5, 2024 Location: Remote Equipment Provided: Laptop headset, and internet router.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: R9,500 monthly Performance-Based Incentives: Up to R6,500 per month based on individual performance targets. Commission: Based on the rand value of collected debts as per the Company’s commission structure. Monthly Incentives: Additional incentives for paid settlements and electronic payments. Top Performance Rewards: Offered for exceptional performance based on specific metrics. Medical Insurance: Provided after three months of employment.

Contingencies

This offer is contingent upon:

Acceptance of this offer via the contract attached to the link below. No existing agreements that conflict with this role. Execution of the Company’s confidentiality agreement (To be signed on 5th August).

Professional Liability Insurance: Activation of a professional liability insurance policy covering misconduct, negligence, and breach of duty, with a monthly cost of R115. This insurance is compulsory to protect both you and the Company from potential legal claims and financial loss. Payment of R115 for this insurance will be refunded up on successful completion of the policy setup. Proof of insurance and proof of payment must be provided before commencing client contact.

How do you ask someone who is currently looking for a job to make a payment of R115 and you still have to scan documents, which costs money. Im currently unemployed and looking for a job. I had high hopes for this position. I believe that I'm the best in the industry. I'm so frustrated and disappointed. The line manager doesn't respond to emails when I ask questions. I'm in disbelief
