Uber

Last week I got an sms appointment at Discovery in Newlands for my second covid jab. I am a chronic 52 year old lung sufferer so my kids dont want me to use public transport as covid infections in our area are high.I'm also unemployed and was thinking about the amount of money I needed to get there.On Thursday I recieved an email that Uber is giving 2× save up to a R100 discounts per trip to vaccination sites.The trip would've cost almost R300 to and back ,which my son had to give me but on Saterday, my appointment date i added the voucher code and recieved my discounts thus saving R200 .There are so many people like me who can't afford to travel to vaccination sites witch cause some not to take the vaccination even though they want to ,so a big Thank you and well done to Uber for your generosity and playing a big part in ensuring all South Africans have access to being vaccinated.#win
