Horrible experience with EgyptAir. I don’t recommend it at all!

I flew with EgyptAir from Budapest to Johannesburg and back. On my flight to JHB the was a lady with a baby and they did not offer her a bassinet for the baby, they didn’t even give her a seat belt for the baby. She was sat at the back in a very uncomfortable seat with a small baby! On my way back I knew I would have overweight luggage so I wanted to pay for the extra weight on line. There is no option in the app yo calculate to pay for extra weight only for an extra bag and it is noted you have to call their reservations line to arrange this, well I was highly disappointed because for 2 days straight I called both the number for South Africa and Hungary and nobody picked up. The email provided doesn't work either and of course when you pay at the airport it costs more. As if this was not enough, on my flight to Cairo where I was going to have a layover and connecting flight to Budapest, the little tv for my seat was not working, I was told they would compensate me for this inconvenience but they have not even communicated how they would do that up to now. To top this all off, when I picked up my luggage at the baggage claim one of my suitcases was severely damaged. Cracked as if it fell or hit something hard at high impact. Clearly they saw this but did not even put a note or acknowledge this! I am very disappointed to say the least and I will never fly with EgyptAir again. I don’t recommend it. Don’t get tempted by the cheap prices as I did because it’s not worth all the inconveniences. They don’t even have a reliable contact provided for complaints.
