Egypt Air : Insurance non existent

No, zero, service after my hard suitcase was severely damaged on 19 April 2024. Reported it at Egypt Air desk at ORT : DPR JNBMS15634. Completed all forms. Received an email on 20 July from *** informing me that my ‘claim is settled with insurance company under reference 9056/2023 and the compensation is sent to our financial office in Johannesburg who will contact you soon to arrange delivery of your compensation’. I was never contacted and numerous attempts to contact Air Egypt’s accounts dept at the provided number (Nabeela Motala ***) were unsuccessful.

Stay away from this airline. It is impossible to reach anybody at their offices who can help me to resolve the problem. I cant help but to get the idea that i’m not the only client who is treated in this way. They are loosing another client and that for an amount of roughly R600
