Be aware of Egadget south Africa

<div>on the 1st of June ordered an Epson data projector from Egadget. When I made the inquiry from them they immediately came back to me on WhatsApp that there was only one left and that if I could make the payment they would dispatch it to me. I made a payment of R6500 and the following day they acknowledged receipt of the payment. subsequently, after a few days, they came back to me apologizing that the one they had in the warehouse was faulty and that I should wait for some time to rectify the problem. I subsequently asked them to refund my money. They agreed but said that it could be done after 10 to 14 days according to terms and conditions. The 14 days passed without payment. They only kept on telling me we would escalate it when l made an inquiry. After a long delay, they came back that the refund had been added to the billing run as per accounts for the 14th of July 2023. Again there was no refund to me. On the 20th of July, they sent me a long letter apologizing for the inconvenience but up till now l could not reach them again or payment made.</div>
