Forgery, theft and lies

EFTPOS have little to no interest for small, micro and up coming businesses in South Africa. As a young retail enterprise dealing with them for past 7 years, we were disappointed when they charged us a commission, vat and rental for the 'eftpos card machine' at the end April 2020 during the National Lock down period. Despite being being well aware of not a single sale or transaction taking place for the level 5 lock down period of 35 days, they levied charges without justification.

When challenged, they submitted that the money could not be refunded but going forward no transaction fees will be charged at the end of May 2020. Despite their promise. they continued to levi full charges against their promise.

When challenged for the 2nd time, they promised to deal with it immediately. 8 days on and still no call, response or refund from them. They should be black listed for forgery, theft and lies immediately.
