Won't pay insurance claims on damaged goods

EFI removal moved my household contents from KZN to WC on 18 April. They offered the option of wrapping and boxing selected items, which I requested for my TV, monitor, etc.

I took out All Risk Insurance on a few select items - TV, monitor, etc

Aside form the fact that they arrived a day late (I felt at the time that sometimes bad things happen to good people and was incredibly accommodating), when their friendly and hard-working drivers did arrive the next day they had not slept at all, which is absolutely appalling management and mistreatment of staff.

Despite my agreement with the sales person, the drivers arrived without boxes for my TV and monitor and there were none to be bought on the day. The drivers wrapped my TV and screen monitor in blankets instead, assuring me that it would be sufficient.

When my goods arrived on 25 April, a few select items were offloaded at my temporary residence and the drivers packed the rest into a storage container. The monitor, which was unpacked at the house, had a scratch on it but I decided to let it go. The TV stayed in the storage unit.

When I took my belongings out of my storage unit 3 months later, to move into my new long-term residence, I found many items to be scratched and broken - my table, desk and several picture frames. The wood of these items had chunks of damage, where it was clear that the drivers had tried to force my goods into tight spaces in the truck- to make space for the belongings of other customers. As none of these items were insured, I took a deep breath here as well.

When I unpacked my TV however and switched it on, it proved to be completely cracked and would not work at all.

I contacted the sales person, who of course claimed that they had not delivered my goods to the storage unit at all, which is entirely untrue - to which I have both evidence, witnesses and a photograph. It has since been 1.5 months and every one of my 3 emails has been completely ignored.

I can only assume that I'm being blatantly ignored to avoid a claim payout.

It's quite obvious that the combination of sleep deprived packers and drivers + the lack of boxes + a long journey resulted in damage to both the TV and monitor and yet EFI Removals carelessly shrugs off all responsibility.

You guys clearly have too much business and make too much money to care about your reputation.

I am, of course, seeking legal guidance too.
