Builder to avoid

Terrible experience, contracted to demolish a load bearing wall and install an I beam, screed the lounge floor and tile pool area. We parted ways after we were unhappy with the screed and application of so called epoxy as it was peeling off as well as loose paving tiles around the pool. We owed builder another R 4000 and called it quits. After this we discovered that the I beam he quoted on and we paid for was supposed to be 300 x 150 mm however he installed 180 x 90 mm which as per engineer spec (which I paid for) fails the requirements of this load bearing wall. Then as we were unhappy with pool paving we called in tile supplier and he pointed out that the tiles were 20 mm think and we paid for 40 mm. Then lastly the epoxy on the floor is not epoxy but a garage paint as it is literally peeling off my floor. Builder takes no responsibility and I have to cover costs to repair, which exceed what I paid him.
