They want tips.

They did the job, and the move went OK.

But - the driver asked for a tip for him and his crew repeatedly. Also, the driver smelled of alcohol (didn't seem drunk, but he was likely on a bender the night before)

Anyway - when it became clear that they were not going to get a tip they no longer seemed to care much about the job and would talk back when asked to unload furniture to a specific places - the driver specifically.

They also refused to unwrap the furniture that was wrapped, only after we started taking off the wrapping ourselves did one of the helpers start to help, but the driver and the rest just stood by watching - probably waiting for their tip.
