POPI ACT NIGHTMARE
I have used Eezi Move twice now - the first time was superb. The second time they arrived late for the pickup, and then 2 1/2 hours late for drop off, (7.30 p.m. instead of between 3 - 5 pm predicted) They finished at 8.30 p.m., their staff were exhausted but still had to move on to another city.
The driver and moving staff are superb in their friendliness and helpfulness, on both occasions.
BUT my upset came on discovering they were using my ex-partners email and cellphone/WhatsApp numbers as well as mine, thereby informing him of my entire quote, timings etc. When I pointed this out as soon as I noted the email I was assured by Anelia that the address had been removed. This did not however extend to deleting his cellphone/WhatsApp number which they continued to use despite him replying to say they had the wrong number! This breach of confidentiality I consider as serious and has caused nasty repercussions for me personally! Please wake up Eezi Move, take your customers notifications seriously and ensure you update details for every move! I am deeply disappointed, because at the end of the day their rates are extremely competitive, albeit being a shared load which brings it's own headaches of not having specific timings, nor even the exact moving date until the late afternoon before the move~!!
On reading other reviews a moment ago I was very unimpressed to see the use of sarcasm in their response to a client! Completely unprofessional and disappointing, to say the least!
It's also disgusting to hear that the staff have to feed themselves out of their own pockets and receive no overtime pay! It's the clients that end up feeding them if they are aware, or providing funds to purchase food on their journey!~ Wonder what the Dept of Labour would have to say about this, considering the extreme hours these staff are working?
Now, let's wait and see if I get a sarcastic, uncaring response as well - best Eezi Move employ somebody with tact and empathy to engage with their customers.
Best regards,
Best regards,
