EeziMove - Beware of their Compliance with Agreed Requirements

My very favourable first impressions were relatively short-lived, regarding a relocation from Pretoria to a retirement estate in Krugersdorp.

The sales consultant was very helpful in providing a quote that undercut the others that I'd received, and then also tweaking it four times to illustrate the different options, e.g. open vs closed vehicle; wrapping items etc. However, telephone calls went unanswered, although emails were responded to fairly promptly.

The crunch came with the retirement estate's security requirement in that all workers / contractors entering the estate MUST have valid SA IDs. I brought this to the EeziMove consultant's attention on more than one occasion, including in my response to her final pre-move query specifically concerning special requirements, and was assured that it would not be a problem.

When the EeziMove team arrived at the estate, two of the four staff did not have the required SA ID ... it was touch and go that they sat outside the property while the compliant staff completed the off-loading ...

(Fortunately for all concerned, the Estate Manager made a concession on my behalf ...)
