Dont use Eezi Move

The Eezi Move team responsible for moving you from KZN show immense disdain for your precious cargo, and even more so when you don't pay the exorbitant fees they charge to make use of their packing offers. Firstly, they tried to cram my entire load onto their shuttle bakkie and trailer forcing my load onto and into every little space, because it was too much trouble to take it in smaller loads to their van parked outside. My son met the truck at the offloading point. Instead of arriving on the Sunday as dictated by their logistics department, they arrived on Monday morning, when my son was supposed to leave for work. He opened the garage to the apartment and Eezi Move packed all the items in there. When we arrived several days later, and we started to move the furniture indoors, the damage became apparent, Firstly our TV Unit fell apart. The top literally came off. Then the dining room table was brought in. A cheap table with aluminium legs. One leg was completely bent inwards and had snapped off the support bad. Next the washing machine.Firstly I only noticed the broken control panel which was completely dislodged from the machine. Then I turned the machine around, and to my horror, noticed all my wiring pulled our,and then the back panel fell off and lo and behold, something had penetrated the motor damaging the motor and drive belt. The more we unpacked the more damage we found. Bedside tables, that were adequately wrapped, the plastic torn and the wood scratched.....long story short, damage was immediately reported, with photographs, and thats where it ended. Standard replies saying they did not wrap it so they cannot take liability, despite the obvious negligence on their side. My advice, if you are going to use them, I never will, please make sure you take photos of your stuff before they load, and check every item as they take it off. BUT BEST TO AVOID THEM
