Appalling service delivery

<p>My father, aged 75, was taken by ambulance to Eerste River Trauma unit on 20 July 2017.</p> <p>He sat there the entire day waiting to be seen by the dr. The dr had him admitted for tests. </p> <p>The following morning, 21 July 2017, when I contacted my father to find out how he was doing, he told me that he had spent the whole night sitting on a hard bench with just a single hospital blanket. </p> <p>In the time that he's been there he has only had half a cup of coffee and half a slice of bread. I am shocked and appalled that patients are treated so inhumanely. </p>
