BAD SERVICE

We bought a bakkie on 11 January 2017 and the sales man, George, brought the bakkie to Kimberley. He had us sign the contract and then jumped in the Polo (the vehicle that we traded in) and left. We received the bakkie with a fuel light coming on. We did not have the chance to test drive the bakkie and once we got the bakkie, the engin had a funny noice. We called in the next day and told the manager Connie about the experience and with his very rude attitude, he assured us that the bakkie is fine. We took the bakkie to a Volkswagen Dealer to make sure and they informed us that the engin is not 100%. On Friday morning we called in again and told Connie again and again he rejected us. We drove plus minus 10km with the bakkie that morning when the SYSTEM ALERT light came on and the engin was making loud noices with smoke coming out of the exhaust. We informed Eerste Geluk and they said they want to hear it from a qualified mechanic. We got out the Volkswagen people and they confirmed that the engin was busy seizing. Eerste Geluk wanted us to drive the bakkie back to BFN. Connie assured me time on time that the engine was fine and they know it because the bakkie was serviced a day or two before we got it. The service book indicated the last service took place on 28 October 2016. Another lie. At the end we said we want to cancel the deal and get back the Polo. After a long fight and a lot of rudeness coming from Connie, Johan and George, we got the Polo back - fuel light on. They even removed my floor mats that was in the car. Until today, no one gave me an answer on where the mats are and why the car was empty. We are really unhappy with the service that we received seen that we are the customer. No customer service !!
