Terrible customer service and delivery

I just wanted to warn any of you who were as desperate as I was when I needed my passport expedited. I used Edward's Business Solutions from Dubai on the advice of a friend who got their baby's birth certificate done the previous month with good results. I feel silly that I didjt do my own due diligence checks against Edward but hey lesson learned. I messaged him in fb on the 8th of november 2019 and he promised me my passport by end of november. I had to pay him R12k. I paid half and told him I'd pay the rest once I get the passport. Come end of november nothing. I message him ..delayed responses..no picking up calls..december comes..delayed and vague responses citing power outages with Eskom impacting process..meanwhile I'm doomed I needed my passport asap so I couldnt travel as scheduled because of lack of passport pages and had to incur costs to travel to SA to try and sort it out but because it was the festive season not much could be done. He pretty much ignored me the whole time and gave vague cagey excuses. Edward is ************* and it's only after I checked reviews I realized how much he has duped people. I didnt want to rock the boat with him as yet cos I still needed him to deliver my passport. I left SA in early Jan and had went to KL which is is why I needed my passport but still nothing but empty promises from Edward. I booked another flight planning to travel to SA which means more costs for me and then finally on 8 Feb he tells me my passport is ready. Mind you I've booked my sa flight so incurred extra costs. Edward put me through so much stress that I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did. I am very disappointed in his client updates and communication. I was contemplating reporting him to SA police cos what he is doing is wrong. ********** misrepresentations at it's best. At minimum he should at least be transparent about timelines and be honest in setting expectations. In my case it was unfortunately a very expensive mistake I made. Never again!
