Treated as second class customers

Me and my family (including baby) Wanted to support Ed's Diner Centurion this evening.
Upon arrival finding hardly any customers in the restaurant. Greeted by a hostess and shown to a square little table with four chairs.
When requesting the soft sofa cubicles I was refused to be seated on them as these tables are kept open for bigger groups later as it gets busier, yet to find 3 to 4 people at the exact same seats. When i refused the seating and kind of arguing i decided to leave as we were second class customers. Then suddenly I was offered the seating requested. Well I don't support a place that thinks I am a second class customer.
