Good Food does not make up for Bad Service

I tried to make a booking for 18 people at Ed's Diner Centurion. Only to find that they supposedly don't take bookings,strange if you take that your other branch does!But I'm welkom to wait at the bar should they be busy.So you seriously expect me to wait with 18 people the get a seat, so we went to Burger Bistro and had a **** of a time.As I told the manager you either take a booking for 18 people that are ready to spend as we are celebrating or you lose the business, to which he responded that we are welkom to go somewhere else.I'm also not the only one that has a issue with this, a friend of mine waited 40min and then left, not the first and not the last to stop his support. This was for a business dinner, how bad do you think that felt? On a separate occasion I took a friend there from Delmas on his birthday, knowing that we could not make a booking.This was for 11 people and guess what, we ended up going to Burger Bistro because the place was full.You might not feel it immediately, but keep treating people like this and after the novelty wares off you might find your loyal customers that use to drive to garsfontein supporting neither of the two.O Burger Bistro take bookings...
