Edric Trust are croockes

My name is Rethabile Tshabalala, I used to rent out a flat through Edric Trust, at Latin heights number 9 in Kellner Street, in Bloemfontein. I moved out of the flat on the 30th of November 2019, when I moved out I went to their offices to drop of the key to the flat and I was told that I will be called for inspection of the flat. I did not receive the call from them. I called them on the 21st of January 2020 to ask them as when will the inspection be done so that I can get my deposit money and I spoke to Lynette, she then asked me to send her my banking details of which I did. On the 22 of January 2020 I got a deposit of R2447.40. The initial deposit that I paid was R6 863.00. I called to ask what informed that amount and why wasn't I called for the inspection so that I can see all the defects that they may point out. They said they had to repaint the whole flat and replace a door handle that has been missing since I moved in and the peeling paint in kitchen and the damaged sink. They send me a quotation that shows that they painted the bedroom, kitchen and the living area, of which at first they said they painted the entire flat. Now they are making me pay for the damages that weren't done by me. I think this is totally unfair as I was never called for the inspection. May you kindly please assist me in this matter.
