STAY AWAY!

I recently had a terrible experience with this company and would urge anyone to steer clear of using them.

I could no longer make a flight that I booked through their platform and enquired about either a date change for my flight or a refund.

Point number 1: I asked for a new flight on the new date and they told me that there wasn’t a flight available through any airline for my new required date. I had done some research myself before asking and found an alternative flight. I told them about this and then they proceeded to tell me that they made a mistake and that that flight is actually available. Talk about doing their job for them!

Point number 2: They wanted to charge me a rescheduling fee that was almost equivalent to the actual ticket amount. I found that absolutely ridiculous and wanted to know exactly for what all these so called fees were as the airline (Qatar) that I was flying with has very flexible policies and I couldn’t believe that their fees would equate to such an amount. Just got a vague answer.

Point 3: I then asked about the refund as it would be cheaper to get a refund and buy a new ticket than it would be to reschedule for the same flight, which makes no sense. The first agent I spoke to offered me a refund of 4850,44 ZAR (so much less than the 7008,55 ZAR that the ticket actually cost). When the chat disconnected and I had to re-explain my situation to the new agent he offered me a different refund amount of 3808,86 ZAR. HOW DO THEY DO THEIR CALCULATIONS!?? At this point I felt like I was completely being taken advantage of and told the new agent his offer was way different than the previous offer and he said that he did make a mistake, the corrected offer is 4400,44 ZAR. Still not the same as the original offer. By now I was extremely frustrated by the inconsistencies and just wanted the money back which I could get so I accepted the refund. In the end, they didn’t even pay the 4400,44 ZAR but I ended up getting a different amount of 4652,31 (which I’m not complaining about but I just think they make up these figures and try and milk anyone for what they can).

The service I received was absolutely horrible and eDreams (more like eNightmare) is just out to make a quick buck out of anyone who chooses to use them. STAY FAR AWAY!
