eDreams Refund horror

When my uncle passed away suddenly in October, a ticket was booked for CemAir flights via eDreams agents for my brother to fly to George, Western Cape to arrange his memorial. Unfortunately, my brother injured his neck and required spinal surgery and couldn't fly. After contacting eDreams and CemAir, the flights were cancelled and hospital admission documents were submitted as proof of his inability to fly and to apply for a refund. To date, nothing has been refunded, we have been pushed from pillar to post, with empty promises made for action within 72 hours over and over again. The refund was supposed to pay for another flight to fetch my uncle's remains and yet we're out of pocket for over R8,000. I am absolutely dismayed and will never book through eDreams or CemAir again. Be warned and don't take the risk. They are rogues...unfortunately I only saw the terrible reviews after I realised that nothing was being resolved.
