On the 13th Jan 2021 we enquired on renting a car Online ( no small print online) we made payment for the use of the car as it stated . Once payment had been confirmed we received a booking confirmation Ref -number, which included that on collection we needed a Deposit in order to take the car. We did know that we would have to pay a Deposit, we were just not aware that it would be such hefty amount. On arrival they refused to release the car as all the documents were not available ( Owner of the business as well as a Credit Card ) We however asked for a refund as we were unable to paid the hidden deposit amount. Their response was we were a no show there for they will not refund the amount we had paid. And have called it case closed, there is an option to reopen case which they have now locked.
