Good day, I wish here is someone that can give my guidance on what to do.

This Edge Gym club try to rip people of their money.

I signed up in 2022 me and a colleague right so a few day like 17 days I advised them I would like to cancel my contract cause it's n but difficult to get there in the afternoon after work so I advised them that I have relocated and will not be able to come to the gym anymore, they said that I will have to settle 40% of the payment they ask me if I do not want to freeze the account for 3 months than I said yes I would prefer that because I do not have 40% to pay now.

Okay right according to me they freezed the account for 3 months after that I noticed that they actually advise that I should rather get someone to gym that would Also be an option I said I would look if I can't find anyone but no one was interested.

After that I received a call from Amica saying that my account has been handed over and all that nonsense I said okay I will make arrangements rather to pay R250 a month that I all I can afford that was in 2023.

I check the other this Amica app thingy go in and see that the hand over amount for this account was R10 188 and I was so shocked cause like what the hell.

According to me when I signed up it was that special for 24 months it was R269 per month how did 269 got to R10 188.

I was so so confused and they send me a message that they will renew my contract within 47 days. Edge Clubs: Dear SAMELENE NATALIA please note that your membership will auto-renew on a month to month basis 75 days from todays date. Thank you for your support thus far, should you have any queries, please contact the gym.

How the hell can these people just renew your contract and you don't have a say.

I already cannot pay that other money.

Imagine hand over amount R10 880i i am still in disbelieve and the fact that they want to re-new my contract what the hell is wrong with this people.

No one get back to me regarding queries at Edge.

I would really recommend people not to go to this gym and sign up contract with the.
