EDGE FITNESS ********* Financial Practices should be looked into

Edge Fitness has a problem with their accounting system and always incorrectly billing people, i'm not the first and surely this should be taken up by a higher authority.

Many people experience problems with money with this gym, during lockdown i stopped paying after my contract expired in October 2019 - during the time they kept on deducting and because i was tired of the back and forth i actually just started using their facilities as they were still deducting.

i stopped paying during lockdown as thing went bad as for everyone, now i have a bill of +- R3000.00 all from the lockdown days.

Firstly my contract with Edge fitness ended in October 2019 from October 2019 you have been deducting my account *******ly. I sent the cancellation letter that i don't have now via my Avis email address, i no longer work there so don't have access to it.

A lady who I spoke to said I must cancel my debit order this was in November 2019 when you guys deducted unexpectedly and gave me an account number to pay premiums if I want to carry on coming to the gym on a month to month basis.

I let this go as the premiums were still being deducted - during lock down I sent an email to a manager who then called me and asked that I carry on paying as we will be given credits for the time we have paid and the gym needs the money.

I stopped paying in June 2020. That was my last premium. That was my last payment as I could no longer afford the deductions my work status had changed.

This month i also reversed a premium deduction off my account.

Anyway that is all besides the point - my contract ended October 2019 - i have not used your facilities from end March till now. I paid April, May and June without using your facilities so Edge Fitness owes me.

Please cancel my deductions off my account with immediate effect and advise if you will pay me back my premiums or get credits for the months paid.
