Edge Fitness... ****ners

I took out a one year contract with Edge Finess in Gonubie. My contract was to expire in April 2019. I received a call from one of the staff members confirming whether I was interested in extending my contract to which I declined since I had already had a membership with a different gym. I was given an email address to send my contract cancellation request. I then visited the branch in Gonubie to confirm if that was the only thing that was required to close my membership. I sent in my cancellation request & received my confirmation, to my surprise my account was debited twice the following month 'May 2019' and again my account was debited in June 2019. When I called to query I was told I had to give a months notice. I took out a one year contract which came to and I was not interested to extend or renew. When I called about the debit orders I was given some confusing explaination which I was never told when I visited the branch when I went to confirm the requirements for termination. I am very upset, Edge Fitness are ******** with stupid facilities, hence I only used their facilities 3times in the duration of my contract. Basically I am now paying for a contract that has expired & terminated... WOW!!!! Talk about DAY LIGHT *******!!!!
